BLAST is a series of one-of-a-kind stools created by using explosives on metal boxes and cylinders. It was Guy's final project at the Bezelel Academy of Arts and Design in 2011.
The project was published in numerous design magazins, blogs and also took part in Moma publication - Design and violance
Explosions are naturally used to harm and destroy.
The Blast project is an experiment of navigating this energy in a way of creating rather then destroying.
Each stool starts as a basic box or cylinder.
By attaching explosives in a precise location, the shape transforms into a recognized and useful object.
each object is unique and one of a kind.
